Aseptic Bottling Process
Why did we choose an Aseptic bottling process?
The average person consumes a multitude of products daily either
through or from a bottle. With many different kinds of bottles and
bottling processes, certain types have been proven to be harmful not
only to the environment, but to the human body.
Because people do not want their food and drink to
go bad soon after purchasing, it has become popular for
manufacturers to add preservatives in order that their product last
as long as possible. Some of these preservatives are thought to
contribute to disease-causing damage in the body. Additionally,
several types of plastic bottles leach toxins into the products they
contain, meaning those toxins enter the human body when the product
is consumed. As for the environment, the production and distribution
of glass bottles has a larger carbon footprint negatively impacting
the environment than does plastic.
While it looks as though there is no perfect option
when it comes to bottling, we at Mandura have discovered what we
feel is the perfect way to provide a juice supplement and retain its
nutritional integrity and purpose Aseptic Bottling.
Thanks to
the Aseptic Bottling Process Mandura is flash pasteurized using
state of the art cold-filled technology which eliminates the need to
add preservatives while still providing an extended shelf life of
approximately two years. Mandura is packaged in food and beverage
safe #2 HDPE plastic drastically reducing the carbon footprint of
production and distribution, compared to glass bottling.
Preservative-Free:
We strongly believe the goal of nutritional supplements is to fuel
our bodies with nutrients that contribute to health benefits. Adding
preservatives to Mandura and other nutritional foods and beverages
would simply counteract their nutritional benefit, and we therefore
urge caution when consuming any type of preservative in your diet,
specifically Sodium Benzoate or E211. Sodium Benzoate has been
linked to:
- Hyperactivity and decreased intelligence in children.
- DNA damage which can lead to neurodegenerative diseases and
increased aging process.
- Becoming a human carcinogen when combined with Vitamin C.
